Hi, and welcome to the all new Port Independent Online Store.
As some of you locals may be aware, the bricks and mortar store has gone through a bit of change in the last few months; we've got a new director (me, Gerard), had a reshuffle of the store space and introduced some new brands and products. All of that hopefully made the store feel refreshed and better put together to serve what you guys, the customer, are after from an independent retailer in Sunderland.
Continuing with this, one of our major goals has been to bring our products to you in whichever way is easiest for you to shop. We accept orders and reservations through Instagram & Facebook DM already, but we know this may not be the simplest way for you to find what you're looking for. So after some graft and rather manic preparations, I'm very proud and excited to share our new website with you.
We're going to do our best to make the absolute most of this website with all kinds of extras to make it a place you want to keep coming back to. We'll be bringing you weekly new releases from our in-house brands: Pastels, Harbour, INDPT & Port Basics, as well as drops from Vaux, Redstar & Art of Football. We'll also be blogging about local events and things happening around the North East, and regular store updates too. This will be the first place to find out about everything we have going on in store, and there's lots still to come in the next few weeks.
Obviously we are a very small team and we're managing the store and the website ourselves, so please bear with us through any teething problems while we get up and running. We're open to any feedback and suggestions you have, so drop us a message here or whichever way is best for you and let me know what I can do to make this an even better customer experience.
